INFORMATION ON PLANE OF SKY
Things to know

Dates, Times & Goals:  July 20 & 21, 2002.  Start time will be 11 am EST.  (10 am CST, 9 am MST, 8 am PST.)  The main goal is to LEARN and Experience The Plane of Sky.  And get started on some of them COOL quests up there!  We will end on Saturday when we don't have enough people to proceed.  Same start times for the next day.

Cloudy Stones of Veeshan:  Cost from 105pp on up from Sornita Eltern in Erudin at the library.  You need one for each port the wizards do.

Exiting Sky:  Only 2 ways off... Death or falling off the edge of any island.

Coffins:  Cost around 175pp. You can buy them on first island in Plane of Sky, from Key Master. He sells the non stackable Jade Inlaid Coffins.

Food & Drink:: Bring enough to sustain you for the duration of the raid.

Reagents for spells:  Bring Peridots & Pearls. Be kind to your Cleric & Enchanters.

Plat:  Bring 750 plat with you.  A couple reasons, one for coffin, two for keys, and three reimbursement of the Cloudy Stones.  Please give 18 Plat to Ecc for reimbursement of stones for your port to Sky.

Meeting place:  Toxxulia Forest Wizard Spires.  Neg 1500, Neg 1000.  All that can bind, bind here.  Others, please get a bind in right inside Paineel.  Neg 2500, Neg 300.  Makes corpse recovery easier if we all die.

Pets:  Beastlords warders can not be summoned.  Magician's can only summon air pets... makes sense :p.  Other Class pets have been reported as being weaklings.

Misc:  Levitate does not work, sow does, keys disappear when you leave Sky and mem blur doesn't work supposedly at all.

WORDS OF CAUTION
bulletThe Sky inhabitants have a peculiar notion of aggro. Sirran will assist mobs that are fought next to him.  You don't want that, Sirran hits for 2000.  Also, all the efreeti will attack you if you either duel close to them or unintentionally cast a non player friendly spell on someone (ie, bards AoE damage on group, etc...). Same is said for quest hall on island, do not duel and be careful of AoE on island one.
1st Island: Thunder Spirits Island

There are 8 level 50 "a thunder spirits".  They are non aggro and will assist each other.  They hit for a max of 160 and casts "choke".

a Thunder Spirit Princess
There is only 1 level 53 "a thunder spirit princess.  She is non aggro and will assist other MOB's.  She hits for a max of250 and casts "choke".  When she is killed "Sirran the Lunatic" spawns.

Key Master
He's a the only merchant on Sky. Sells Key of the Misplaced (to Azarack Island), Key of Swords (to Noble Dojorn Island), Key of Veeshan (to quest hall, not same as Veeshan's Key to last island), Jade Inlaid Coffins, Box of the Void and the 5 types of mana batteries.

Sirran the Lunatic
He spawns once the "a Thunder Spirit Princess" dies, on the kill spot. Won't attack unless you start chatting with him. Just hailing him is safe. Hand him one Lost Rabbit Foot to get the key of the misplaced (to Azarack Island). Hand him one Tiny Sword to get Key of Swords (to Noble Dojorn Island). He despawns in approximately 22 minutes.

Strategy: Once porting in, nothing is aggro so there is no break-in to enter Plane of Sky.  WOO HOO!  The Thunder Spirits have a small aggro, and will not assist if pulled normally.  Even though some are very close together, they are easy to single pull.  This island is usually done in 15 minutes and is cake.  The island will yield a total of 24 of each keys.  Respawn time on island 1 is approximately 4-6 hours.  When you kill the Thunder Spirits, they EACH drop 3 ear looking things and 3 throwing knife looking things. Each person in your party take one ear and one knife. Upon clearing the regular fairies, kill the Fairy Princess. Once the Fairy Princess is dead, a Crazed Halfling will appear. Have EACH person give the ear and tiny knife to the Halfling at the SAME time. he will give you BOTH the Key of the Misplaced and the Key of Swords.  At least that is what I have heard.  We will find out!

The Quest Hall

Use the Key of Veeshan from Key Master on the right porter on first island to get to Quest Hall. Warning: Once into the quest hall, you cannot go back to the islands. You have to drop from islands and get ported again.  The NPC's located here are:

There are 2 level 59-60 "a blade stor".  They are non aggro and will assist.  They hit for a max of 325, are high magic resistant and cast a stamina sap.

Noble Dojorn
He is non aggro and will assist other MOB's.  Hits for a max of 300, is high magic resistant and casts an AoE DD.  His death spawns the "Overseer of Air" on Pegasus Island.

Gwan
Only 1 level .  Is non aggro and will not assist.

This island will have different strategies depending on what is the goal. If you are there only for the monk epic, it is best to set the camp in the windmill as Gwan has a knockback proc and will throw people off the island. Simply hand the presence the scale from Eejag, tell Gwan you are ready and carefully walk him to the windmill. Neither the Blade Storms or Noble Dojorn will assist.

If you want to kill Noble Dojorn. There are 2 main strategies. The first one is to use the pathing to your advantage. If you aggro the Blade Storms, Dojorn will assist, and vice-versa no matter where you stand on island.  If a monk feigns death on the Blade Storms and Dojorn, there is a chance that they will path to island 3 (Gorgalosk) before eventually coming back to island 2, which takes about 5 minutes.  Which means it is possible to split the mobs. The second and simplest way is to have 2 warriors tank the Blade Storms and have the rest of the raid party kill Dojorn. The Blade Storms are mainly just in the way and an annoyance in killing Dojorn.

The single teleport pad on the island will take you with "key of the misplaced" to Azarack Island. Respawn on the Presence is 2 hours, Dojorn is 7 days.

2nd Island:  Azarack Island

There are 9, (8 wanderers, 1 static), level 53 "an Azarack".  They will aggro and will assist.  They hit for a max of 190, the static 220, some are resistant to cold, others to fire, and casts Whirlbolt, which is a levi, root, 400 DoT.  Killing the static spawns the Protector of Sky.

Protector of Sky
Only 1 level 55 "Protector of Sky".  Hits for a max of 290 and casts Whirlbolt, which is a levi, root, 400 DoT.  Killing him Sirran the Lunatic; he has a despawn time of approximately 80 minutes.

Sirran the Lunatic
He spawns when the "Protector of Sky" is killed, approximately where Protector of Sky dies. Won't attack unless you start chatting with him. Just hailing him is safe. Hand him one Broken Mirror to get the key of misfortune (to Gorgalosk Island). He despawns in approximately 20 minutes.

This island goes pretty fast, since mobs easily aggro. Get all people buffed and invis before porting to this island, and then, once ready either attack or wait to be attacked.  The island will yield anywhere from 13 to 31 keys. Usually is less than 24, be ready to use the summon corpse tactic. Bring lots of chanters to mez the extra azaracks and have nukers nuke the early ones hard cause they easily add up. Respawn on the island is about 8 hours.

3rd Island:  Gorgalask Island

There are 4 level 54-56 "a Gorgalask".  They are non aggro and will assist.  They hit for a max of 302, stun, and enrage at the end of the fight.

There are 4 level 54-56 "a Spirited Harpie".  They are non aggro and will assist.  They hit for a max of 298, have a 5 minute Harm Touch, has a low level skeleton pet, casts Screaming Terror and Cascading Darkness.

There are 3 level 53 "a Crystalline Cloud".  They are non aggro and will assist.  They hit for a max of 245.

There is only 1 level 58 "Heart Harpie".  It non aggro and will assist.  Hits for a max of 375, is high resistant, has a 5 minute Harm Touch, has a low level skeleton pet, casts Screaming Terror and Cascading Darkness.

Gorgalosk
There is 1 level 60 "Gorgalosk".  It non aggro and will assist.  Hits for a max of 375, is high resistant, stuns, and enrages at end of fight.  Kill him will spawn Sirran the Lunatic.

Sirran the Lunatic
He spawns once "Gorgalosk" is killed, approximately where Gorgalosk dies. Won't attack unless you start chatting with him. Just hailing him is safe. Hand him one Animal Figure to get the next key (to Pegasus Island). He despawns in approximately 20 minutes.

Since nothing is aggro, porting up is quite easy. Use long range spells to pull (have mage's give monks staff of runes, 1 charge dispel, to easily pull the island). Kill all roamers, then use a monk to split the 3 back static spawn (2 crystalline clouds, 1 watchful guard). To split the bosses, first bring the 3 of them on the left side of temple, then FD. Have someone keep hailing Gorgalosk to keep him there. Monk /q then pull the remaining 2 on right side of temple. Have someone tag (2nd monk good). Kill the first boss, usually heart harpie. Then pull the one that has gone back in the temple. Then finally tell your hailer to bring Gorgalosk. This island will yield 21 keys. A little more corpse summoning, or a good point to quit on Day 1 and restart here on Day 2.  Kill the shimmering meteors for Globes, do it after the bosses and inside the temple as the knockback spell is pretty bad. Respawn on island is about 8 hours.

4th Island:  Pegasus Island

There are 3 level 52 "Soul Harvester".  Non aggro and will assist.  They hit for a max of 200, are low fire resist, and cast Whirl-til-you-hurl.  Killing the first one will spawn Ekim Nottap.

There are 6 level 54 "Soul Carrier"  Will aggro and will assist.  They cast Whirl-til-you-hurl.  2 spawn for each Soul Harvester killed and despawn in 80 minutes

There are 6 level 56 "Soul Tamer"  Will aggro and will assist.  They hit for a max of 300, cast Whirl-til-you-hurl and enrage at end of fight.  1 spawns for each Soul Carrier killed and despawn in 80 minutes

No information found about this MOB.  Other than he despawns after 80 minutes, which in turn spawns Keeper of Souls.

Keeper of Souls
There is 1 level 60 "Keeper of Souls".  Will aggro and will assist.  He hits for a max of 400, Death Touches, casts Whirl-til-you-hurl, and enrages at end of fight.  Killing him spawns Sirran the Lunatic.  Despawn in 80 minutes.

Overseer of Air
There is 1 level 63 "Overseer of Air".  He is non aggro and will assist.  He hits for 750, is high resistant, Death Touches, dual wields daggers, casts AoE DD and DD's.  Killing him triggers spawn of Hand of Veeshan on last Island.

Sirran the Lunatic
He spawns once the "Keepers of Souls" is killed, approximately where Keepers of Souls dies. Won't attack unless you start chatting with him. Just hailing him is safe. Hand him one Bird Whistle to get the next key (to Spiroc Island). He despawns in approximately 20 minutes.

Split pattern is 1 Harvester becomes 2 Carriers and each Carrier becomes 1 Tamer. The way to deal with this island is to stay on Gorgalosk island. Send one necro with harm shield or a cleric with DA to Pegasus island or a monk with good safe fall. It is possible to jump back down to island on a very precise spot. So the player aggros a pegasus/grifon, then jump down to Gorgalosk island. The initial pull is pretty easy. When it splits, have a high level chanter either Dictate or Rapture one of the Carriers. Kill the first split completely then deal with second split. Once the first split is killed, Ekim Nottap will spawn. You have 80 min to kill all spawns before Keeper of Souls spawn. This island will yield 28 keys. If the necro aggros more than one and jumps down with the mobs on Gorgalosk Island, the mobs will not path back to Pegasus Island. Instead, they will go in the temple in the middle of Gorgalosk island and wait there.

5th Island:  Spiroc Island

There is 1 level 52 "Spiroc Arbiter"  It will aggro and will assist.  Hits for a max of 200, casts lightening, unresistable AoE, Blind and Root.  Is tied to a 1 Banisher & 1 Vanquisher.  Will always respawn until the associated Vanquisher is killed.

There is 1 level 52 "Spiroc Banisher"  It will aggro and will assist.  Hits for a max of 200, casts lightening, unresistable AoE, Blind and Root.  Is tied to a 1 Arbiter & 1 Vanquisher.  Will always respawn until the associated Vanquisher is killed.

There are 3 level 56-58 "Spiroc Vanquisher".  It will aggro and will assist.  Hits for a max of 250, casts lightening, unresistable AoE, Blind and Root.  Is tied to a 1 Banisher, 1 Arbiter, 1 Caller, 1 Walker, 1 Expulser, and 1 Revolter.  Will also enrage at end of fight.

There is 1 level 60 "The Spiroc Guardian".   It will aggro and will assist.  Hits for a max of 250, is high resistant, casts lightening, unresistable AoE, Blind and Root.

There is 1 level 63-65 "The Spiroc Lord".  It will aggro and will assist.  Hits for a max of 350, is high resistant, Death Touches, low level pet, casts lightening, unresistable AoE, Blind and Root.  His death spawns Sirran the Lunatic.

He spawns once the "The Spiroc Lord" is killed, approximately where Spiroc Lord dies. Won't attack unless you start chatting with him. Just hailing him is safe. Hand him one Noise Maker to get the next key (to Wasp Island). He despawns in approximately 20 minutes.

Each low spiroc is tied to a Vanquisher. Killing the low spiroc without killing the Vanquisher makes the low spiroc respawn instantly. In the same fashion, killing the Guardian before killing all Vanquishers will keep the Guardian respawning all the time. And, killing the Spiroc Lord before killing the Spiroc Guardian will make the Spiroc Lord respawn instantly. It is thus possible to farm the Spiroc Lord for the drops and the rare quest items. This island will yield 24 keys. The initial pull will bring usually at least 2 triads of Spirocs (6 in all) so be ready for one intense fight.  Every MOB has a Large Aggro Range.

6th Island:  Wasp Island

There are 3 level 50 "Bzzazzt".  They will aggro and will assist.  They max hit for 390, cast a 1200 poison DoT and have a huge aggro range.

There are 5 level 55 "Bazzzazzt".  They will aggro and will assist.  They max hit for 500, high resistant except for the "Lure Line", cast a 1200 poison DoT and have a huge aggro range.  Despawns in 80 minutes.

There are 2 level 57 "Bizazzt".  Will aggro and will assist.  They max hit for 700, high resistant except for the "Lure Line", cast a 1200 poison DoT and have a huge aggro range.  Despawns in 80 minutes.

There is 1 level 60 "Bzzt".  Will aggro and will assist.  They max hit for 700, high resistant except for the "Lure Line", cast a 1200 poison DoT and have a huge aggro range.  Despawns in 80 minutes.  Bzzt's death spawns Bazzt Zzzt.

Bazzt Zzzt
There is 1 level 63 "Bazzt Zzzt".  She will aggro and will assist.  She max hits for 850, high resistant except for the "Lure Line", Death Touches, casts a 1200 poison DoT, AoE disease, which covers entire island and have a huge aggro range.  Despawns in 80 minutes.  Killing her will spawn Sirran the Lunatic.

Sirran the Lunatic
He spawns once the "Bazzt Zzzt" is killed, approximately where Bazzt Zzzt dies. Won't attack unless you start chatting with him. Just hailing him is safe. Hand him one Dull Dragon Scale to get the next key (to Drake Island). He despawns in approximately 20 minutes. Telling him the phrase "Am I the wall" will make " The Sister of the Spire" spawn on Drake Island.

This island will yield 24 keys. When you port up, there are 3 Bzzazzt's up. They have very wide aggro and assist range, but do not see invis. Also, they will not attack if you stay behind the big gear looking thing in the ground. The left Bzzazzt will split like on  Pegasus in a 1-2-2 pattern (splits are Bazzazzts). The right one will split 1-3 into Bazzazzt. The middle one will give one Bazzazzt, that will give Bzzt, that will then give Bazzt Zzzt. This is the toughest part of Sky, beside the Hand of Veeshan.  Best thing is to Dictate the left and right Bzzazzt and use them to fight the middle spawns. Respawn is approximately 12 hours.

7th Island:  Drake Island

There are 5 level 56 "Heartsbane Drake".  They are non aggro, but will assist.  They max hit for 475, are low resistant and cast a Levitate, Whirl-til-you-Hurl, DoT, DD.

Fatestealer Drake
There are 5 level 58 "Fatestealer Drake".  They are non aggro, but will assist.  They max hit for 425, are high resistant and cast a Levitate, Whirl-til-you-Hurl, DoT, DD and casts wizard spells.

Windrider Drake
There are 5 level 60 "Windrider Drake".  They are non aggro, but will assist.  They max hit for 575, are high resistant and cast a Levitate, Whirl-til-you-Hurl, DoT, DD and casts wizard spells.

Greater Sphinx
There are 7 level 54 "Greater Sphinx".  They are non aggro, but will assist.  They max hit for 375, Death Touches, and cast enchanter spells.  They have a small aggro range.

There are 8 level 53 "Undine Spirit".  They are non aggro, but will assist.

Sister of the Spire
There is one "Sister of the Spire", telling Sirran the Lunatic on Wasp Island the phrase "Am I the wall" will spawn her.  She will aggro and will assist.  Hits for a max of 200, is high resistant, Death Touches, AoE Stuns, and will enrage at end of fight.

Sirran the Lunatic
He spawns once the "Sister of the Spire" is killed, approximately where sister of the Spire dies. Won't attack unless you start chatting with him. Just hailing him is safe. Hand him one Replica of the Wurm Queen to get Veeshan's key (to Butterfly Island). He despawns in approximately 20 minutes.

This island will yield app. 22 keys, maybe more. Warping is awful on this island. Similar to Gorgalosk island, use monk with dispel staff to pull, but expect the monk to die often as mobs have a bad tendency to warp. The sphinx have very small aggro and only the back one will cause the Sister to aggro. Be careful of pet aggro when fighting the sphinx, they will aggro the Sister. Sister can be farmed by leaving someone on Bee Island that hails Sirran and keep telling the key phrase. It is recommended to kill the undine spirits, as they can drop Crowns of Elemental Mastery. Both the Hand and the Eye can be pulled to this island. Respawn on the island is 24 hours.

8th Island:  Butterfly Island

There is 1 level 63 "Eye of Veeshan".  It is non aggro, but will assist.  Hits for a max of 200, is high resistant, Death Touches every 45 seconds, and casts an Efreeti 500 point DD.

There is 1 level 63 "Hand of Veeshan".  It will aggro about 1/4th of Drake island toward Butterfly island and will assist.  Hits for a max of 865, is high resistant, Death Touches every 45 seconds, and casts an Efreeti 500 point DD.

Neither see invisible. Easy to pull down to Sister Island by sending a sheep to get the DT, then pulling it close to edge and rez the puller at the same time he aggros the Eye. Respawn on the Eye is about 8 hours.
